Philippines Trip

today is where all the good things has come to an end. i hate this. during the philippines trip, i had a lot of fun and the experience is worth while. the experience for this trip, is totally great. i've met the interactors. i miss them. all of them. while i was there, i've found a new brother. Shah. ha ha. well, they said i looked like him. and ya, eventually, he kept calling me "adik". and, i called him "abang". had a great time there with them. the first day, was quite boring. the second day was fun. it was our free day. i can't recalled where did we go, but i had fun. that's the main point. in the night, i helped khairi to collect all the things that we have brought from Singapore for the childrens. we slept late. the third day we went to "Children's Joy Orphanage". it was a blast. when we reached there, the childrens faces are cheerful to see us there. they were adorable kids after all. they performed for us. they are really talented. they played violin, guitar and the other instrument? i can't recalled the name. it was wonderful. they are really talented kids. i was amazed by their performanced. after the instrumental performances, they still played the instrument but this time there's a few kids, went to the center and dance as a group. they were adorable. well, i dance along with them cause they grab my hand and i were asked to dance with them. it was superb. i wish i can do that with them once again. after that, there's another dance performance from the guys there. they were cute and talented. after all the performances, its our turn to performed for them. well, i agree, their performanced more good than us. we sang "I dream" and "Where I Belong". i had fun singing though. after that, we did our interact family dance. the "nutbush". i love the dance. as well as the kids. they dance with us and they wanted to dance again. we did it a lot of time. after the nut bush, the carnival starts. everybody were happy with the games there. they liked it. im really glad they did. after all the carnival, we packed up our things and we did the nut bush again. oh ya, i forget! we gave them present as well. bag pack, bottle, luaggage tagged, shoes just to name a few. they were happy with the things that we gave it to them. from their faces, i can see that they are really happy. after all the things finished, we danced nutbush again and after that, they performed for us again. they sang together. i was touched by their performance. i cant helped myself from crying. i cried eventually. well, this is tears of joy. this is the great experienced for me. before we leave the place, the childrens hugged us and shaked our hands. one of the children kissed me and i kissed her back. i cried even more. i miss them a lot. hopefully i can meet them once again. i just cant stopped crying till we alight the bus. till now, they are still fresh in my mind. they faces, the joyfullness and everything. they are still fresh in my mind. the fourth day, we went to ephpheta. techincally, this place is for the blind. and ya, i've a great experienced again. they performed for us. and i was amazed that a blind lady is able to play the piano very well. she's great. i love it. after they performed, its our turn to performed. well, we did the same song and ya, i had fun singing it with the rest of the interactors. our intention for us to go there, is to have a dining in the dark there. we were split into groups. the other half helped to covered the rooms with newspaper and etc to make the room dark and the other half went out to interact with the blind people. trust me, i had a great time chatting with them. i met lorena. i don't dare to asked how did she get blind. im scared that i cant hold on to my tears. so i didnt asked her. well, we just chat and chat non stop. it was nice knowing her. and she called me her younger sister. she said, i will be successful lady in future. insyallah. amin. thanks lorena. well, she asked me for my email and facebook email. so i gave it to her. she a great person and she's kind. i miss her. after talking to her, i felt happy and thankfully. cause after seeing her condition and after talking to her, something woke me up to appreciate things that i have and not complain about things that we have. after that, dining in the dark, started. all the interactors sat outside and ate our lunch but i didnt. i was not hungry at all. we waited for dining in the dark to finished. after a few minutes dining in the dark ended and we are about to leave soon. we sang together again and said good bye to them. i almost cried when i said good bye to lorena. she hold my hands tightly and hugged me. i was touched by her doing that. i miss her a lot. after that, we leave the place and went for a short shopping. i bought some stuff. after shopping, we went back to our hostel, and helped khairi for the inventory for the brookside. after helping him, went to changed to out traditional costume for RC Loyola Height meeting. i had fun wearing my tradtional costume at a foreign country. we ate our dinner there. took a lot of photos. and there's presentations from our president and vice president. it was a blast. then we do nutbush dance again witht the rotary with our baju kurung and we performed too. we sang the same song. we were asked to intoroduce our traditional costume to the fellow rotary. after the dinner, we went back but this time we went to our separate ways. khairi, jeffrey, dinah, shera, asiyah, afiqah, hilary and me went to starbucks. while at philippines, we spent a lot on starbucks. while we are walking to starbucks near our hostel, everybody were like staring at us. i think they never seen our traditional costumes. may be. we reached there, we ordered our drinks and after that off we go. this part the best. while we were walking, we had a lot of fun walking together as a group at night and making funny jokes. especially jeffrey. I will not forget the malay word that he have been saying. we were happily walking and when we reached at the main gate, the gate were already closed! we were panicked. jeffrey's idea was to shout as loud as possible so that people can hear us and open the gate for us. ohh well, we might end in jail cause it was late at night and people will be calling the police. ha ha.. so, we decided to walked one big round. so we walked. well, it was damn scary. there's no one walking execpt for us. when we are about to reached the hostel, we saw something that we shoudn't be seeing. so we just kept quiet and continue walking. after a few minutes, we reached the hostel and we are safe from danger. just imagine, we are wearing our traditional clothes and we walked for like 1 hour plus just to go to the other gate which is open and we were perspiring along the way. and and, there's no adult with us. but the main, we are safe from danger once we reached our hostel. once we reached hostel, we drank our drinks that we bought from starbucks. it was a tiring day. and almost every night, i spend time at afiqah's room. same goes for jeffrey and khai. the fifth day we went to brookside. i like it there. we made a game carnival but this time we came to their class to play the games. now i know how its like to be a teacher. the student were naughty but adorable. i had fun playing games with them. as for the other class, the student doesn't seem to listened to aisyah nor my instruction. one of the student quarrelled with another student. so, we have to raised our voice a little bit. their form teacher went headache with their behaviour. so, we take charge of the class for like 3 to 4 hours cause it was our last class and we were waiting for the things that we are giving it to them. while we are waiting, we gave them waffle biscuit. they enjoyed it and we gave out luggage tag as well. after that we have no idea on what to do. so, i brainstorm and i asked them to sing and dance together with us. im glad they enjoyed it. we sang baby song together. there were adorable. we dance nutbush with them. and the dance for us. they were simple adorable. after that, the shoes, bags and everything came. we gave out. and off we go. we waited for the the car to come and we can put the leftover things on the car. while we are waiting, we played with the students there. i met my 2 favourite student. they hugged me. they were happy to see me again. seeing them happy, makes me happy too. they hugged me tightly. i took photos with them. i miss them. after that, we leave the place and they ran to me and hugged me again. and said, we will miss you and please come again. i cried for a moment. it was hard for me to say goodbye. i hugged them for like 5 times. i gave them my hair clips. i really miss them. then off we go. we went for our lunch. i didn't eat my lunch as for im too tired to eat it. he he.. so, i just sat there and drank water. after that, we went out to see the candle making. it was fabulous. while we are about to leave the place, the students and the teachers came out and performed for us once again. i was touched. i saw the 2 students again. they hugged me again. and this time, they don't want to let me go. trust me, i was about to cry. till now, they are still in my mind. the sixth day, we went to laguna. it was 3 hours trip. i slept all the way. i was damn tired. as usual, they took photos of people sleeping. ha ha.. the way shah slept was the worst. he almost fall. haa.. i had fun at laguna. during the night, we had party and gift exchange. we have to buy a gift for the person whom we have picked without seeing the names. it was fun doing that. at night, everybody were busy finding gifts at one particular shops which is near to our hostel. mr chong ordered pizzas for the party. when we reached hostel, we get changed and went for the party at conference room. we had fun. we took photos. we danced and eat together. i had fun! the sixth day was simply SHOPPING DAY! I LOVE IT! we went to greehill to shop. after that we went to asian mall to shop. i've bought a lot of things. while i was hanging out at afiqah's room, i slept there cause it is too COLD & too TIRED. hehe.. the next day. woke up early. bathe and get ready and take our luggage and our belongings to the bus and off we go to airport. when we reached there, we took a group photo before we fly off to singapore. while im on the airplane, i was sad and happy at the same. sad because i will not be able to spend time with my fellow interactors and i will be missing philippines the kids there. happy because i will be back in singapore in few hours time. i slept all the way through. haa..was too tired. at 2.15pm, we reached singapore. i was sad cause i will be missing all my fellow interactors badly and i hate to say goodbye after we had a great time together 24/7.
